The Royal City Youth Ballet Company works to showcase young artists and provide them with the encouragement, preparation and experience necessary to shine in the professional dance world. But as a non-profit organization, we need help from the community. Our aim is to present the most professional production possible, not only in our dancers, but also with sets, lighting, costumes, programs, etc. The cost of putting on such productions is great. We hold a Nutcracker Balloon Raffle and Silent Auction every November. In addition, we can provide tax receipts to donors through the rest of the year. If you're interested in helping the Lower Mainland's young dancers, please send an email to RCYB@telus.net

The Royal City Youth Ballet couldn’t work without volunteers.
Many parents choose to get involved because their children are dancing with the Company. But many others get involved for other reasons: because they love dance or the theatre; because they want to learn more about the behind the scenes activities of the ballet; or because they just want to give something to the community.
If you’ve got a talent for sewing, or even if you’ve never held a needle, the costume department can always use a hand. If so, please send an email to Chris Sinosich. Or drop by the costume room located at 715 Carnarvon Street (right around the corner from Kirkwood Academy).
If you have a knack for walking softly and speaking quietly, and you are interested in helping with the props or sets or other backstage jobs, please email RCYB@telus.net
